(b) Other Institutional Provision for Mothers.
The County Council Home for convalescent mothers
has been available but post natal homes have not held
any attraction for mothers who have usually been unable
to find any person to care for the baby in their
absence.
(c) Care of Illegitimate Children.
Since 1944 stress has been laid on this subject and
the Day Nursery and Maternity Home provisions were
