Fourteen cases of whooping cough were notified
from schools with 110 deaths as compared with 201 cases
and 2 deaths in 1937.
Two cases were admitted to the Isolation Hospital.
Dysentery.
Two cases were notified and there were 110 deaths.
Cerebro-spinal Fever.
Three cases were notified during the year, in each
case after admission to a general hospital. One patient
died, and on investigation the cases were apparently
sporadic. A death of a child from cerebro-spinal fever
in an unnotified case also occurred.
TUBERCULOSIS.
During the vear 91 cases were notified.
