INFANTILE MORTALITY, 1956
The number of deaths of infants under the age of twelve months was 10, as compared with 15 in 1955. The Registrar-General returns 11 infants deaths, and the Infant Mortality Rate for the year was 12.40 per 1,000 live births.
The following Table shows the cause of death in 10 cases for which full records exist.
