57. MATERNITY WARD.
The admissions to the Maternity Ward of the Municipal
Hospital numbered 202, compared with 180 in 1929. Of these 27
cases were admitted for ante-natal treatment, and 175 for confinement.
Corresponding figures for 1929 were 36 cases for antenatal
treatment, and 144 for confinement.
