Since the Bye-laws of the London Comity Council which
require the deposit of plans and particulars came into operation in
August 1903, 605 plans for the drainage of new buildings and 8855
plans for the alteration and reconstruction of drains in existing
premises have been received.
During 1917, 252 Notices of drainage work were received. 224
of these necessitated the deposit of plans and particulars. 49 related
to the entire reconstruction of the drainage system.
