the assistance of the head teachers of the girls' department in two typical Chelsea
schools (The "Ashburnham" and the "Marlborough"), she has ascertained for
all the pupils in the two departments the number of children in the family unmarried
and living at home, and correlated this with the number of rooms occupied by the
family. The result is given in the following table:—
