Annual Report of the London County Council, 1911.
The death-rate in each year since 1868 in relation to the mean death-rate of the period 1869-
1911 is shown in diagram (Q).
No case of typhus fever occurred in 1911. A case notified as typhus was removed to hospital.
The patient resided in Hammersmith, and the case was subsequently diagnosed as one of miliary
tuberculosis. I
Enteric Fever.
The number of cases of enteric fever notified in the Administrative County of London during
1911 (52 weeks) was 1,022, compared with 1,284 in the year 1910 (52 weeks). The deaths from
this disease numbered 144 in 1911 (52 weeks), compared with 196 in 1910 (52 weeks).
