In each case the factory concerned was notified that the sending of work to the
premises must cease and the outworker was told by letter that this action was
being taken owing to the unwholesome conditions under which he or she was working.
RAG FLOCK AND OTHER FILLING MATERIALS ACT, 1951
This Act requires -
(a) the registration of premises where specified filling materials are used
and
(b) the annual licensing of premises where rag flock is manufactured or stored
Twenty nine premises were on the Council' s register at the end of the year,
and one licence was renewed in respect of storage for the year 1960
