Twelve mothers paid the entire cost of their dentures, two of which were complete
sets.

In addition to the consultations provided by the Council, a number of others have been
held, the cost of which has been defrayed out of funds from voluntary sources. The services
of two qualified Health Visitors (part-time) were also provided from the same fund. 36
classes for needlework were held at which 517 attendances were made ; 43 mothers attended
five cookery classes, and 101 mothers attended 18 classes in mothercraft. During the year
74 mothers and 145 children were sent away for a fortnight's holiday.

Attendances at the Sewing and Knitting classes numbered 515.
Interviews with parents by the Superintendent, other than at classes or clinics,
numbered 1,494. There were two cookery demonstrations, at which 39 mothers attended.
