Infantile Mortality.
The number of deaths of St. Pancras infants under one year of age occurring during
1934 was 160. This gives an Infant Mortality rate (number of deaths under one year of
age per 1,000 births) of 65. The corresponding rate for the previous year was 58.
The following table gives the deaths and death rates of both legitimate and illegitimate
infants for 1934 :—
