Population.—The estimated population for the year is distributed amongst the Wards
and Sub-Districts in the same proportion as at the 1921 Census.
Births.—Outward transfers are excluded, and then births in St. Pancras institutions are
classified according to home address, and inward transfers distributed amongst the Wards and
Sub-Districts in proportion to their respective populations.

Deaths.—Outward transfers are excluded, and then deaths in public institutions and inward transfers are classified according to home address.
