Hospital Accommodation.
With the exception of the two hospitals of the St. Pancras Guardians the use of the
hospitals in St. Pancras is by 110 means confined to the residents in the borough. They are
rather London than St. Pancras institutions, especially on the in-patient side, and many of them
receive patients even from beyond the metropolis. On the other hand hospitals outside of the
borough are largely used by St. Pancras residents.
The following table has been constructed from figures kindly supplied by the secretaries of the various institutions to show the work done by the hospitals in St. Pancras, without reference to the home addresses of the patients.
