Tuberculosis Dispensaries.
The staff at the St. Pancras Dispensary (39, Oakley Square, and branch at 132,
Maiden Road), which serves the part of the Borough lying north of Euston Road (population
in 1911, 173,132) consists of the Borough Council's tuberculosis officer, one tuberculosis
nurse, and one (woman) clerical and general assistant, all full time officers. The lastmentioned
officer was appointed in 1920. The tuberculosis dispensary at University College
Hospital serves the whole of the Borough of Holborn (population in 1911, 49,357), in
addition to the part of St. Pancras lying north of Euston Road (population in 1911, 45,255),
as do also its staff, which consists of a part-time tuberculosis officer and a full-time
tuberculosis nurse.
The work done at the dispensaries in 1920 is shown in the following table :—
