It will be seen that 1,282, or 25.3 per cent. of the children born, were the
subjects of certificates of conscientious objection to vaccination, the percentage
being as high as 36.2 per cent. in the North division.
The children with such certificates, together with those unvaccinated and
not otherwise accounted for (bottom row in table), numbered 1,494 or 29.4 per
cent. of the total births.
