Thus, of the St. Pancras parishioners whose death took place during the
year, more than one-half died in Public Institutions,
Table 5 on page 125 shows the death-rates for 1914 of England and Wales,
the County of London, the several Metropolitan Boroughs and the 30 largo
towns with populations exceeding 125,000, It should be noted that the St,
Pancras figures are shown in this table on the basis of the Registrar-General's
estimate of the population which, as explained before, differs from the estimate
made in this report.
Causes of Death.
The deaths are fully classified for causes and age periods in table 2
(pp. 119-122).

The following table shows the deaths from infectious diseases aud certain other causes classified according to Wards and Registration Sub-Districts.
