Sale of Food and Drugs Acts.
Too samples have been taken under these Acts, and 698 of these proved to be genuine and 57 adulterated. The details are given in the following table : —

In addition 24 informal samples have been purchased and submitted for
analysis, viz., 14 of butter and 10 of sugar. One of these (butter) was found
to be adulterated.
