Closing Orders.
During 1913 71 houses were represented by the Medical Officer of Health
as unfit for human habitation. Closing Orders were made by the Council
under Sec. 17 of the Housing and Town Planning Act, 1909, in respect of all
these houses, after they had been inspected by the View Sub-Committee.

The list of these houses is given in the following table:-

None of the above closing orders' were determined, and no demolition orders
were made during 1913.
An appeal was made to the Local Government Board by the owners in
respect of 104, Aldenham Street, but was not heard during the vear.†
In accordance with the Housing (Inspection of District) Regulations, 1910.
the following table is submitted: —
