The number of Marriages celebrated in St. Pancras during 1887 was 2082, this
number is 115 below the average of the ten preceding years, and the smallest
number on record.
BIRTHS.
The number of Births registered in St. Pancras during 1887 was 7,519, this
number is 3S9 below the average of the preceding ten years.

preceding decennium being 33.0. The birth-rate of London in 1887 was 31.7.
