years. The rainfall during the year was 25.24 inches, being
2.3 inches less than the previous year, and 0.2 less than the
average of the preceding 40 years.
The first quarter of the year was colder by 2.68 than the
average and had a mean temperature of 37.38, while the
rainfall was 5.43 inches, and was .42 above the average.
On the 18th of January a fall of snow of unusual severity
took place.
