complete disinfecting stations in the country. Until the 1940's the
station proved well able to cope with the demands made upon it,
but as the years have passed, bringing improved standards of
living and housing and changes in social habits, the pattern of the
demand has changed. We are now able to provide services such
as the laundry service for incontinent persons which hitherto did
not exist and which has proved a boon to many aged and infirm
persons.

Details as to the number of inquests held at the Coroner's Court, and bodies received into the Mortuary, during 1967, are set out in the following table:—

Crematorium Regulations, 1930
Under these regulations, 1,904 cremations were authorized
during the year.
