Vision
During the year vision tests were carried out on 6,678 boys and
6,453 girls, a total of 13,131 children, compared with 6,195 boys
and 6,188 girls, a total of 12,383 children in 1964. The percentage
of the number tested with and without glasses who were referred
for treatment or observation was 18.7, compared with 20.2%
in 1964.
