Infantile Mortality
There were 151 deaths of children under one year, giving an
infant mortality rate of 22.6 per 1,000 live births. This compares
with a rate of 19.6 for 1963.
For the 10 years ended 1954 the average infant mortality rate
was 26, while for the 10-year period ending 1964 the average rate
was 20.
Table 111(b) shows causes of death of children under one year
of age.
