The average composition of the samples of milk submitted during each month of the year and returned as genuine was as under:

Total milk solids 12.28 per cent.
Milk fat 3.59 per cent.
Non-fatty solids 8.69 per cent.
The average composition of the 32 samples of Channel Island and
South Devon milks was as under:
Total milk solids 13.45 per cent.
Milk fat 4.42 per cent.
Non-fatty solids 9.03 per cent.
