London County Council (General Powers) Act, 1954
Hairdressers and Barbers
Section 18 of the above Act requires, inter alia, that, no person
shall carry on a business as a hairdresser or barber on any premises
in a borough unless he or those premises are registered by the
Borough Council. During the year 25 new registrations were made,
and 12 cancellations received. The total number on the register at
the end of the year was 233.
