Imitation Cream
Eighteen samples were examined for the presence of pathogenic
organisms. Coliforms were not isolated.
Artesian Well Water
Seven samples were submitted for examination, and all were reported
satisfactory.
Ice-cream
During the year 33 samples of ice-cream were tested in accordance
with the technique suggested by the Ministry of Health and Public
Health Laboratory Service. These samples were examined at the
Public Health Laboratory.

Others
Of the 15 miscellaneous samples two were found to contain
coliforms but the remaining 13 proved to be free of pathogenic
organisms.
Analysis of Food and Drugs
During the year 1,000 samples of food and drugs were procured
for analysis; 180 samples of milk, 785 other foodstuffs and 35 drugs.
