Table VIII gives details of the sanitary operations carried out
in the Borough during the year.
The number of drains which were tested was 426 and 923 were
cleansed or repaired. The drains of 39 houses were reconstructed,
and 112 drains were partially reconstructed.
Damp conditions have been remedied in 1,620 premises, and
in 51 of these damp courses were inserted.
