Diarrhoea.
The number of deaths from Diarrhoea was 49 compared
with 36 in 1936, 41 in 1935 and 44 in 1934. Of these, 40, or 81
per cent., were under the age of one year, compared with 94 in
1936. The number of deaths from Diarrhoea, Zymotic Enteritis
and Enteritis under one year represents 16.2 per cent, of the total
mortality at that age.
Other Infective Diseases.
13 deaths occurred, five from Syphilis, five from Septicaemia,
one from Pyaemia, one from Encephalitis, and one from Actinomycosis.
