Infective Diseases.
The total number of cases was 2,410 compared with 3,494
in 1934. This large decrease is due almost entirely to the marked
fall which occurred in the number of cases of Scarlet fever and
Diphtheria. In 1934 there were 2,125 cases of these two diseases,
but in 1935 the number was 1,016, a reduction of almost one half.
Small-pox.
No case of this disease occurred during the year.
Vaccination.
Table X. is taken from the official returns of the Vaccination
Officers for the year 1934 and shows the number of

as for the separate sub-districts.
