The total number of addresses received from other Councils
was 552 and 117 addresses were forwarded to other Councils.
The number of addresses received has decreased by 27, and the
number sent by 63. 25 names and addresses were forwarded to
this Borough in error, and are not included in the above Table.
The number of notices sent to employers during the year was
39, and these had a most satisfactory result.
During the year 21 cases of infective diseases—4 of Scarlet
Fever, 6 of Diphtheria, 6 of Measles, one of German Measles, and
4 of Whooping-cough—were notified as having occurred in the
homes of outworkers. In none of these cases was it necessary
to make any order under Section 110 of the Factory and Workshop
Act.
