The particulars with regard to cost cover the financial years
ending 31st March in each case, and those for 1923-1924 are subject
to correction owing to the short time elapsing between the close
of that year and the publication of this Report.
The table shows that the number of cases has increased in
each of the three years, while the average duration of stay is
slightly less.
The fees received from patients in 1923 show a considerable
increase over both previous years, and there has been a progressive
fall both in the gross and nett cost per patient week.
