Milkshops.
At the close of 1910 there were 336 milkshops on the Register,
57 have been added in 1911 and 38 removed, leaving 355 or the
Register at the end of 1911.
During the year 912 inspections were made of these premises
and 41 notices, chiefly for cleansing, were served.
Seven prosecutions were instituted for carrying on the business
of a dairyman without being registered, and fines amounting to
£2 10s. 6d. were imposed, with £1 4s. costs.
Cowsheds.
The following is a list of the registered Cowhouses in the
district granted by the London County Council in October :—
