Compared with 1910 the percentage of deaths under one year
was 4.35 higher; from one to five years 3.22 higher; from five
to 15 years .20 higher; from 15 to 25 years .57 lower; from 25
to 65 years 4.21 lower; and from 65 years and upwards 2.86 lower.
There was a considerable diversity in these rates in the different
sub-districts.
I
In Streatham the rate under one year was only i6'95, while
in Tooting it was 2871, while over 65 years of age Tooting had a
rate of 16.58 and Putney of 3472.
Again, as has been noted also in previous Reports, at from one
to five years the rate was still high in Tooting and low in Streatham,
and also at ages five to 15, while at ages 25 to 65, and over 65 the
Tooting rates were much lower.
