The contract for the above is being carried out by Messrs.
Hemplenian & Co., and the arrangements still appear to be
satisfactory.

The length of kerbing and superficial area of carriageways and footways disturbed by the Water Board, General Post Office, London County Council, and the various Companies having statutory powers for breaking up roads, in connection with mains and services, for the year ended March 31st, 1912, are as follows:—
