REPORT OF THE STREATHAM, BALHAM, AND TOOTING
LIBRARIES SUB-COMMITTEE,
For the Year ended 31st March, 1911.
In submitting the Twentieth Annual Report on the work of
the Streatham, Balham, and Tooting Libraries the Sub-Committee
have pleasure in again recording a considerable increase
in the use made of the three libraries during the past year as
indicated by the large number of books issued.

The circulation at each library was as follows:—

The total number of books circulated represents an increase
of 31,321 on last year's return.
A detailed statement of the number issued in each class of
literature is given in the general table of statistics, page 15.
It is a matter of much satisfaction to the Sub-Committee to
find such convincing evidence of continued public appreciation of
the usefulness and popularity of the libraries under their supervision.
During the past twenty years the number of books issued
