Tubercular Diseases.
The total number of deaths from diseases of a Tuberculous
nature was 382, compared with 352 in 1907, 376 in 1906, 360 in
1905, and 380 in 1904.
273 of the deaths were due to Tubercular disease of the
Lungs, 58 to Tubercular disease of the Brain, and 51 to other
forms of Tubercular diseases.
The number of deaths from Tubercular disease of the Lungs
and other Tubercular diseases and the rates per 1,000 for the
whole Borough and for the separate sub-districts are shown in the
next Table.
The corrected death-rate from Tubercular disease of the
Lungs was '83 per 1,000, compared with '81 in 1907, "86 in 1906,
•93 in 1905, and 1*07 in 1904; from other Tubercular diseases '33,
compared with '28, '35, "33, and "36; and from all Tubercular
diseases r 16,. compared with i'og, i'2i, i'26, and i'43-
