The corrected death-rate was .83 per 1,000, compared with
.86 in 1907, .82 in 1906, .78 in 1905, .92 in 1904, and .98 in 1903.
The number of deaths and the death-rate in each sub-district
was as follows :—Clapham 59 and .86; Putney 30 and .97; Streatham
89 and .87; Tooting 21 and .67; and Wandsworth 75 and .77.
Three of the deaths occurred at ages from five to 15 years,
three from 15 to 25 years, 173 from 25 to 65 years, and 95 over
65 years.

In Institutions within the Borough six deaths occurred from
Cancer, two males and four females. Two of these deaths occurred
