I have examined the Accounts of the Weir Hospital Charity for the year ended December 31st, 1908, with the books and vouchers of
the Charity, and with the Certificates affecting the cash at Bank and the investments, and I certify the Accounts to be in agreement therewith.
I have not audited the Capital Funds shown in the Accounts as £108,687 17s. 2d. Stocks valued at ,£107,438 0s 7d., and held by the Official
Trustees of Charitable Funds—the Official Trustees of Charitable Funds being a Department of the Government. The Official Trustees have
given me a Certificate certifying that on December 31st, 1908, such sum of £ 108,687 17s. 2d. Stocks was held by them in trust tor the Weir
Hospital Charity, and I certify that the Dividends received from the Stocks held by the Official Trustees of Charitable Funds have all been
brought into the Accounts of the Charity. In my opinion the Balance Sheet is properly drawn up so as to exhibit a true and correct view of
the state of the Charity's affairs according to the information given to me, and as shown by the books of the Charity, and the investments set
out correctly represent the Capital of the Trust Funds after the sale of £6,1o6 18s. 9d. Consols sold by the Official Trustees of Charitable
Funds on the 14th August, 1907, for the sum of £5,000.
