In all 1,603 visits were made, a slight falling off compared
with the previous year, this being due to two causes, illness and
the necessity of more frequent inspections in certain workshops.
Of the 1,603 infants visited, it was found that 1,255 or 78 per
cent, were breast-fed, while 348 or 22 per cent, were otherwise fed.
