The factor thus obtained represents the number of persons per
rated hereditament, by which the number of hereditaments in the
middle of 1907 is multiplied.
Table I. shows the population of each Ward and the number
of rated hereditaments in 1901, the number of hereditaments in
the middle of 1907 and the estimated population.
