In all, 1,626 visits were made, compared with 1,048 in 1905,
and among these it was found that 1,282, or 77.6 per cent. were
breast fed, while 344, or 22.4 per cent were otherwise fed.
If we add to this the number of children where other foods
were given in addition to the breast, we find that the percentage
increases to 88.
