The case-rate for this year is .49 above that for the year 1905,
but is .4 under the average for the 10 years 1896-1905. The
highest case-rate was in Tooting and the lowest in Putney.
The rate in Clapham was .59 above last year, but .5 under
the decennial average, and the case-rate in all the other sub-districts
also shows an increase compared with the previous year,
but are all under the decennial average.
Compared with London as a whole the case-rate is the same,
but the death-rate is '01 per 1,000 higher.
The death-rate in 1906 was .16 (.13 in Clapham, .17 in Putney,
.13 in Streatham, .19 in Tooting, and .18 in Wandsworth).
The rate was highest in Tooting and lowest in Clapham and
Streatham.
In 1905 the death-rate was only .11 per 1,000, and in the
whole of London .15 in 1906, and .12 in 1905.
