The death-rate from Zymotic diseases as shown in the above
Table was .13 above that for 1905, but "49 under the decennial
average.
The rate in Clapham was .19 above last year, but .73 under
the decennial average, for Putney .20 under last year and .38
under the decennial average, for Streatham .21 above last year,
but "37 under the decennial average, for Tooting .23 above last
year and .57 above the decennial average, and in Wandsworth 02
above last year, but .78 under the decennial average.
The rate was lowest in Streatham and highest in Tooting,
while compared with the decennial average Wandsworth shows
the greatest reduction, and Clapham the next.
The rate for Tooting is exceptionally high, owing to the
increase in the number of deaths from Diarrhoea and Zymotic
Enteritis.
Notification of Infectious Diseases.
The total number of cases of infectious diseases notified during
the year is shown on Table III. of the Local Government
Board's Tables.
