DUSTING.
This is dealt with in various ways in different parts of the
Borough as shewn below:—
A.—Refuse from North Ward of Clapham and greater part of
South Ward, also a small portion from Lower Streatham,
is sent by rail to shoots, etc.
B.—From portion of South Clapham, Streatham, Balham and
Tooting disposed of at Destructor.
C.—Western District, taken by barges from Putney and Bell
Lane Wharves, also a portion from the Wandsworth Wards
is disposed of at Shoot outside the Borough,
