Scarlet Fever.
744 cases of Scarlet Fever were notified during the year,
compared with 822 in 1903, 1,063 in 1902, and 684 in 1901.
102 of these were notified from Clapham, 82 from Putney, 220
from Streatham, 84 from Tooting, and 286 from Wandsworth.
The total number of deaths was 13, three in Clapham, three in
Putney, three in Streatham, none in Tooting, and four in Wandsworth.
607, or 81.6 per cent, of the cases were removed to hospital,
where 10 died, and 137 or 18.4 per cent. were treated at home with
three deaths.
