Exclusive of Chicken-pox 1,540 cases were notified, compared
with 1,735 in 1903, and 2,338 in 1902.
Six cases of Small-pox were notified, compared with 28 in 1903,
127 in 1902, and 31 in 1901; of Scarlet Fever 774 compared with
882 and 1,063; of Diphtheria 406 compared with 532 and 750; of
Enteric Fever 70 compared with 105 and 139; of Puerperal Fever 14
compared with 13 and 21; and of Erysipelas 267 compared with 232
and 235.
With the exception of Erysipelas and Puerperal Fever all the
above diseases show a satisfactory decrease.
