PRECEPTS OF LONDON COUNTY COUNCIL.
198.—The following are the amounts of the precepts of the London County Council paid by the Borough during the last four years, viz.:—
1901-2 | £95,192 9s. 0d.= | 15d. | in the .£ on assessable value. |
1902-3 | £101,697 19s. 6d.= | 15½d. | „ „ |
1903-4 | £114,021 19s. 10d.= | 16¾d. | „ „ |
*1904-5 | £184,394 13s. 6d.= | 25.87d. | „ „ |
(The foregoing rates are based upon the full assessable value. If
empty houses, rates irrecoverable, and cost of collection are taken into
account at least id. in the £ per annum should be added to arrive at the
rate actually paid.)

199.—The following are the amounts of the precepts of the Guardians of the Union during the last four years, viz.:—
1901-2 | £132,138=20.95d. | in the £ on assessable value. |
