PRECEPTS OF LONDON COUNTY COUNCIL.
198.—The following are the amounts of the precepts of the London County Council paid by the Borough during the last four years, viz.:—
| 1901-2 | £95,192 9s. 0d.= | 15d. | in the .£ on assessable value. |
| 1902-3 | £101,697 19s. 6d.= | 15½d. | „ „ |
| 1903-4 | £114,021 19s. 10d.= | 16¾d. | „ „ |
| *1904-5 | £184,394 13s. 6d.= | 25.87d. | „ „ |
(The foregoing rates are based upon the full assessable value. If
empty houses, rates irrecoverable, and cost of collection are taken into
account at least id. in the £ per annum should be added to arrive at the
rate actually paid.)
* Including half-year's expenses for education.
PRECEPTS OF GUARDIANS.
199.—The following are the amounts of the precepts of the Guardians of the Union during the last four years, viz.:—
| 1901-2 | £132,138=20.95d. | in the £ on assessable value. |
| 1902-3 | £150,191=22.89d. | „ „ |
| 1903-4 | £148,139=21.76d. | „ „ |
| 1904-5 | £147,289=20.66d. | „ „ |
