Report of the Medical Officer of Health.
Number of prosecutions Under By-laws under Public
Health (London) Act, 1891—
(a) For prevention of nuisance arising from snow,
ice, salt, filth, etc. —
(b) For prevention of nuisance arising from offensive
matter running out of any manufactory, etc. —
(c) For the prevention of keeping of animals in such
a manner as to be injurious to health —
(d) As to paving of yards, etc., of dwelling houses 1
(e) In connection with the removal of offensive

Sanitary Conveniences.
A new sanitary convenience has been erected by the Council
at Tooting Broadway, but additional conveniences are required
in other parts of the Borough. This is, however, receiving the
attention of the Council, and the question of erecting others is at
present under consideration.
In January, 1903, the following report was made to the
Public Health Committee with respect to the condition of the
urinals attached to the public-houses in the Borough.
