SEWERS
In the Parish of Clapham, 6,104 feet lineal of new
sewers, 26 manholes, 1 pipe-flushing shaft, 24 surface
ventilators, 3 obelisk ventilators, 1 iron pipe ventilator
erected against the wall of a building, and 107 gullies
have been constructed in new roads by and at the expense
of the owners. 386 feet lineal of new pipe sewer, 3 manholes,
2 pipe-flushing shafts, 1 surface ventilator, 1 iron
pipe ventilator, 1 obelisk ventilator, and 9 gullies have
been constructed by the late Board of Works and the
Council at a cost of £154. The sum of £128 has also
been expended in the repair of gullies and sewers.

The following is a return of the receipts and payments during the year ended 25th March, 1901, in connection with each of the public underground conveniences, viz:—
