1,170 preliminary and 375 statutory notices were
served, compared with 944 preliminary and 331 statutory
in 1899.
309 houses, representing 322 rooms were disinfected
after infectious diseases, a decrease of 42 houses and
51 rooms, compared with 1899.
Daring the year, 347 lots of bedding were disinfected
at the Disinfecting Station. These 347 lots
representing 7,915 articles, as follows:— 300 beds,
267 bolsters, 724 pillows, 243 mattresses, 593 sheets,
348 palliasses, 417 quilts, 300 cushions, 2,121 articles of
clothing, 816 blankets, 545 carpets, and 1,241 extra

In addition to the above the whole of the disinfection
for the Parishes of Streatham and Tooting, and a
small amount for private persons, was done at the
Disinfecting Station. Exclusive of the work for this
parish 302 lots representing 6,340 articles, were disinfected.
I have again to report that the whole of the
disinfection was most efficiently carried out.
