The corrected death-rate, produced by excluding 38
deaths of non-parishioners occurring in the district, and
including those of 104 parishioners occurring outside in the
various public institutions of the Metropolis, and producing
a corrected total of 825, is thereby equal to 12.5 per 1,000
of the population, compared with 13.0 per 1,000 during
the preceding year. The number of deaths in the
corrected total includes 370 males and 455 females.
Natural The natural increase, otherwise the excess
increase. of the births over the number of deaths
registered in the Sub-district was equal to 787, representing
12.1 per 1,000 of the population. The sex distribution
was, males 439, and females 348.

and the death-rates during the past sixteen year.
